Did you attend any presentations at the Spring 2023 NNP Symposium? We'd love to hear from you! Please select the survey for the way you tuned in. If you watched some online and some in-person, please do the survey for in-person attendees.
Thank you, and we hope to see you back for the next one!
Our sponsors have long held the belief that there is power in education, and that the best way to pave a pathway to a brighter future for the hobby is to proliferate numismatic knowledge. To that end, we have organized the first entirely virtual numismatic event to further that mission.
The NNP Symposium is a line-up of presentations and meetings to be delivered via Zoom over a three day convention. Anyone can apply to present, and anyone can attend - all completely free of charge. Explore the menu at the top to view past recordings or take a look at the guidelines to present in the future.
We've held six NNP Symposia since 2020, including our first hybrid event with an option to attend in-person at Central States in April 2023. All talks will always be available live online and free to attend.
Run a virtual meeting during the NNP Symposium. We handle all the technical details so you can focus on connecting with members.
Give a presentation on a topic you love! Maybe you collect an unusual series or have a unique take on a corner of the hobby - we want to hear it.
Share your recent project with a wide audience. We get collectors from all over the hobby, so you're sure to get some new eyes on your work.
We're fully sponsored by the Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society (EPNNES), a non-profit foundation dedicated to enabling numismatic research. We're not selling anything, and all features of the NNP Symposium are freely available.
Also sponsored by EPNNES, the Newman Numismatic Portal (NNP) is an open, online archive of over 40,000 numismatic journals, books, auction catalogs, and more. NNP Symposium presentations and exhibits will be available on the NNP following the Symposium.
"I believe the NNP Symposium was an incredible success. I suspect it’s done more for the hobby of numismatics than anything I can think of."
"I want to share with you how much I enjoyed another outstanding lineup of presentations at the NNP Symposium. I cleared my schedule so I could attend the majority of the talks which have become one of my numismatic highlights of the year."
"If it weren’t for wanting to see all of my numismatic friends in person, I’d say we could do away with the ANA convention and just have this symposium every year."
"These last three days were the closest I've come to having a coin convention experience since before the coronavirus hit."
"I just want to tell you what a fabulous event the Symposium was, as I’m sure you have heard a hundred times. It was an oasis in the COVID-19 desert — it got the coin collecting juices flowing again for those of us hunkered down waiting for the next show."
"The NNP hit a homerun with its effort. The Symposium was such a success that I hope the NNP makes this an annual event."
